Introducing the
Nutrition Academy

What Is A Dietitian?

Many people are unclear about the difference between a dietitian, a nutritional therapist and a nutritionist.

Dietitian is a protected title and is a carefully regulated profession.

Dietitians are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat diet and nutrition problems.

All dietitians have studied the science of nutrition and advanced to train in clinical environments, applying nutrition to health and medicine.

Dietitians also study sociology, psychology and coaching techniques to give you the best chance at reaching your health goals.

Most importantly, dietitians are required to be fully evidence-based in their practice and won’t sell you anything but advice.

If you choose a dietitian you can be sure that the treatment you receive will be based on the latest medical science, delivered by an unbiased trained expert.
